We dress your table with balloons & poppers FREE of charge & promise to make a fuss of you from the moment you arrive until you leave. Especially when we bring out your cake & sing at the top of our voices!
Better still, book a table of 10 or more & the birthday boy or girl gets a FREE starter & Dessert. Book a table of 20 or more & they receive all 3 courses for FREE.

For my 21st, my boyfriend booked me a surprise table at Ed’s.
When we arrived my family & friends had already arrived & were sitting at one huge table. The food & the service was first class & the atmosphere was great. When my cake arrived they flashed the lights, sang to me & even gave me a free cocktail! I left really really happy. Ed’s would not have been my first choice, but going forward it will be my only choice, I had a brilliant birthday there.

Recently I had my 35th birthday at Ed’s. There were 10 of us sat round a large round table, my mates kept calling me Arthur (as in King) funny lot that they are, but in honesty the service was so good I felt like a king. I had the most amazing steak, probably the most tender I have ever eaten. My wife told me I was too old for cake, but the Ed’s staff not to be outdone, brought me out a hot fudge sundae complete with candles, they sang happy birthday & generally embarrassed the life out of me. Not sure who Ed is but he has an amazing team & a cracking restaurant & better still, customers for life.

We have all our family birthdays at Ed’s, simply because they take fantastic care of you & really go out of their way to make you feel special. Our kids love it & in equal measure so do my parents. I know of no other restaurant, that manages to keep all the generations so happy. They really have a winning recipe. Keep it up.

I went for the first time to Ed’s for my 16th Birthday. We hadn’t booked & they found out at the front door it was my birthday, think my silly badge gave it away. They asked us to wait 2 minutes & when we arrived at our table, they had quickly put balloons & poppers on it, which was lovely. Our waiter was funny & cute & all our food was lovely, one of my friends is a real fussy eater, but it was no bother, they made her exactly what she wanted with NO fuss. But I think the best thing apart from the FREE birthday fudge cake, was that we were treated with respect & not as a group of giggling teenagers, which was recently the case in another local restaurant.
