My wife and I went to Ed's for the 1st time on Saturday evening (17/09/11). We both had the "early bird". May we both say a big thankyou for a wonderful experience. We found the staff to be so attentive and really friendly. The food was excellent and great value for money. The best dining experience we have had in a very long time. Can't wait to return to our "Favorite Restaurant"

FANTASTIC!!!! I was down last sunday for a birthday meal....I could not ask for more. Balloons, party popers and chocolate cake lol. Service was superb, food was amazing ...will def be back. It was so nice feeling spoilt xx

Called in with my mum on thursday after swimming, we were 30 mins passed the breakfast time, yet it was no bother to make two frys for us. Such a lovely place to eat, food was great, brilliant value and customer service will definately have me coming back. I love giving my business to people that actually care.

Fantastic place to dine out with family or friends! Food, staff, atmosphere and service all first class. We have been in a load of times and never been disappointed. We recently brought friends in who were visiting us from Scotland, one of whom is a chef and very hard to please, he loved it. Said it was the best steak he had ever had! Our favourites are the sharing chilli beef nachos, followed by mammas monster rump and if you have a bit of room left the warm sticky toffee cake is out of this world! I highly recommend Eds to everyone, if you have never been you are missing out!

Looking for somewhere to go with the family? with a friend? or with a partner? Couldnt find anywhere nicer or friendlier than eds!!! The food is fresh, tasty and scrupscious. the staff are sooooooooo helpful and friendly. Hard to get the kids to eat as they r tooooooo busy being entertained with the numerous dvds to borrow.

Reasonably priced for what you get, great place for a family meal, staff are all very helpful and friendly we go all the time....like the new menu, ok except you need to bring back the ed's bookmaker sandwich...it's amazing and I couldn't get it the last time I was there and was slightly disappointed.

Amazing as always, If you want the best food you can taste, pleasant staff, great decor and lets not forget, toys, DVD players and DS for kids. Eds is the place to be, Its the only place we will go as a family, we all love it you couldn't ask for a better place especially for Family's :)

I have been to eds a number of times. The staff are really nice and the guy who owns it is really nice. My son who is ten loves to go there. He is type one Diabetic and also suffers from Coeliac Disease.This is one of the only places we can go and be told he can have what ever he wants to be honest it makes him feel normal.
We were there tonight after cinema and it was lovely and when I told the waitress she knew what he was allowed and what he wasnt. When it came to the ice cream she was able to say it was fine.
Thanks Eds I will be recommending you to others and thank you for making my son feel normal.

Hi, I was in your restaurant today (Sun 7th Feb) for lunch with my partner. It was the first time we have ever been in your restaurant and I have to say I was truly impressed. I am a restaurant manager in Belfast myself, and was impressed by every aspect of your restaurant. The service was very good. The waiter that served us ( A tall male, with dark spikey hair) was very polite and pleasant, and all the waiting staff looked immaculate. The food both quality and value for money again excellent. I was very impressed at how family friendly the restaurant was, especially the TV's for the kids - well done :).
I think especially given the current economic climate a restaurant like yours is an excellent idea.
Once again, we really enjoyed our experience today and we will be back. It truly is a hidden gem.

I've been to this restaurant twice now and would recommend it for a meal. The staff are friendly, atmosphere and food are great and the price is very reasonable. We had to wait on our food but we knew it was being cooked and we were not disappointed when it arrived.
Will be returning here in the very near future.

Decided to go to Eds Diner in Lisburn last night and have to say it was the best dinning experience we have had out with the kids to date. couldnt have asked for better service. they provided noah with a wee bag of toys and half way through the dinner they brought a new bag to stop him getting board also i took lilly to the toilet and they automatically lifted my plate and put it under the heat lamp for me. Food was excellent too.

Best food in Lisburn bar none. Hillsborough has the plough and the pheasant but Ed's is better than them all. The food never disappoints.
